Summer is in full swing here and in my house that means we always have a ton of fruit on hand. There’s just something about a cool piece of refreshing fruit on these hot summer days. Maybe it’s just me? Oh well!
So for today’s Tasty Tuesday, I thought I would share a quick and easy recipe that would help you use up all that fruit you have sitting around. You can whip this up for a quick mid-day snack or serve it with a side of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Either way, I’m sure your kids will enjoy every bite of it!
1 qt. frozen strawberries
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
1 c. blueberries
5 bananas, sliced
1 can peach pie filling
1. Combine strawberries, pineapple, and peach pie filling. Mix until combined.
2. Slowly fold in bananas and blueberries until well incorporated. Serve immediately.
